Dont get me wrong, I love Lady Gay Gay, but her new video for Born This Way will have to grow on me. I do for some reason feel that she is very raw in the video, not so controlled as she usually is in her interviews and other music videos that come to mind.
And I love the horns, would so totally also rock a pair but I think my colleagues would be a little too freaked out.
Below is the opening video that showed at the Suzaan Heyns fashion show at Joburg Fashion Week 2011. It was such a nice way to open the show and combine it with the actual event. The two guys featured in the video was at the event and was sitting in the audience and finally walked down the catwalk in REALLY high heels. Well done to them!
Love the video, well done to the Suzaan Heyns team and to Jenna Theron who directed the video.
This trailer has been making its way all over the internet. It is such a hot topic that there are talks including movie adaptations. The game is about a family who goes on vacation and then BAM people start becoming zombies, or the plot is something along those lines.
I had the pleasure to be invited to take photos back stage at the Stiaan Louw show this past weekend. The madness and energy that happens back stage is so fun, but always a bit tricky to capture. Thanks for the invite Mr.Louw, I hope you enjoy the photos.
Oh what a night last week Friday was, I attended the Stiaan Louw show at the Johannesburg Art Gallery and it was amazing. Unfortunately I wasnt able to watch the show from the front row as I was busy taking back stage pictures while the show was happening. The pictures will be posted on my blog this week.
There was some unhappy attendees as it seems that more people attended the show than was planned. People where basically sitting on the runway on the floor by the feet of the VVIP's. Some of my friends couldnt even get into the venue and had to watch outside on the flatscreen tv's. I think this is a sign that Stiaan's return to Joburg Fashion Week after a 2 year absence was something that people was looking forward too. Maybe AFI should just give Stiaan his own huge show next year so that a million people can attend, and each have a chair of their own.
