Solo exhibition: Lina Scheynius
If most celebrities move into a new field of interest it is usually viewed with some pessimism and disdain. Are they actually any good or are they riding on their celebrity to get exposure for their new side projects?
Well this is not the case with Lina Scheynius, a former Swedish top model, who has proven her talent as a photographer. Lina already has fashion shoots and several published photo books under her belt and now she is adding a solo exhibition in London to her achievements.

Never before seen pictures of Steve McQueen
Steve McQueen is a legend and rebel; a reformed delinquent who got his thrills from racing cars and motorcycles. Girls swooned and guys wanted to be as rugged as him.
Now imagine, it is spring of 1963 and Steve McQueen was making his mark with his big-screen release 'The Magnificent Seven' and a few months from here he would include 'The Great Escape' to his list of achievements.
This was when LIFE sent their photographer, John Dominis, to hang with the 33-year-old actor for three weeks and capture his life. What he did get are amazing, intimate and iconic photos. Only a handful of these images have been published, but to celebrate (what would have been) McQueen's 80th birthday (today), LIFE are releasing additional images that came about from this shoot.
For more images and great information on each of the images go to LIFE.

We love the Dutch and we love their glasses
Our story starts in 2006 when Ralph Vaessen was still an unassuming Dutch government employee. Little did he know that his life was about to change drastically. When he couldn't find frames he liked, a Dutch optician helped him get into contact with a German-based atelier that produced single sets of frames. The wheels in his mind started to churn and he wondered why he should stop at one pair when an entire collection could be shared with the world?
This was the beginning of Ralph Vaessen, creator of luxurious handcrafted natural horn sunglasses and frames for eyewear fans with discerning tastes.

Pradalphabet - Prada make limited edition shirts
Not many can speak fashion like Prada does. Full stop. It is just the way it is.
So when we stumbled across these Pradalphabet t-shirt collection (that were created in collaboration with the Paris art and design partnership M/M) we almost feinted with excitement.
Why partner with M/M? Easy. The alphabet and M/M go way back, with M/M having already developed 50 different typefaces. "In theory, buying a Prada t-shirt, adorned with its logo, is like getting a souvenir of the peculiar world offered by this brand", the M/M team says. Every single word in the Pradalphabet is a work of art, a statement, while being inter-linked by M/M. "We’ve designed a series of 5 t-shirts decorated each with a letter on the front and the Prada-M logo on the back, each one is our totally subjective vision of the Prada world".
A special made-to-order service also exists. So now is your time to get you own name spelt out on a Prada shirt.
