Balloon art: Jason Hackenwerth
Birthday parties. Clowns. Circus. These are a few of the situations where balloons are expected, but in a gallery? Jason Hackenwerth doesn't just look at balloons as a novelty, but as a medium that can be manipulated for art.

Nathan Sawaya does Lego Art
Lego. We all had this. We all built houses, cities, cars and ships with these little plastic cubes. They made the imagination come to life, while also letting boys satisfy their fantasy of world domination.
Nathan Sawaya took his passion one step further by actually becoming a Lego Certified Professional (yes these people exist). As an artist, he works almost exclusively with these building blocks, even creating a life-szie T-Rex, a 6-foot-tall Han Solo and Alfred Hitchcock.
